Get ready to go on an adventure. Don’t worry, you won’t even have to get up – wicked right? –

In this wicked show? movie? clip? episode? porno? (you do see me change in front of you so…) we’ll just call it a movie.

The character, Joey, is late for school. Or so he thinks. His conscience (narrator) makes fun of him and takes advantage of his lack of responsibility. Joey is in a race against time to get to school. However, there’s a surprise waiting for him when he’s about to leave the house.

Enjoy!

Mancave – V-Log reviewing finale of Sons of Anarchy *WARNING SPOILER ALERT*

Man Cave*WARNING: SPOILER ALERT*
If you haven’t seen the finale and don’t want to know what happens, tune out NOW!

https://i0.wp.com/www.nottinghampianolessons.co.uk/blog/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/Sons-of-Anarchy-Wallpapers-15.jpg

If you’re still with me, welcome! I wanted to follow up from my prediction blog and see how many I got right. At the same time, I wanted to also review the finale and give my thoughts on it.

Sons of Anarchy in it’s completion is now in my Top 3 shows of all time.

It has now joined the likes of The Sopranos
https://i0.wp.com/image.guardian.co.uk/sys-images/Arts/Arts_/Pictures/2007/05/23/sopranos460.jpg
And Oz

So without further adoo/adiue/adu, here’s my V-Log!

Enjoy!

Let me know what you thought of the finale on my Twitter page right here.

Mancave – Sons Of Anarchy Finale Predictions

Man CaveAs you may know about me, from my Top 5 Movie Villain Podcast, I love the BAD GUY! I love me some organized crime movies or T.V Series’

So it should come as no surprise that I’ve been watching the Sons of Anarchy, and sadly the show is coming to a close tonight.

https://i0.wp.com/upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/fr/0/06/Key_art_sons_of_anarchy.jpg
Now like most movie/T.V aficionado’s, I make predictions for how I think things will end. I have a lot of expectations for the ending of S.O.A, and decided to make 5 predictions for the finale.

1.) The main character Jax Teller will die…

https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/67/5e/03/675e03c07aaf1729f16f2478f883b9d3.jpg
Now I know this isn’t a bold prediction, as a lot of people have predicted this. So I’ll take one further. Not only will Jax die. The entire motorcycle gang will die as well. The show teased in last week’s episode that he would die due to a Mayhem vote. For those who aren’t aware, that’s when the rest of your club votes to have you killed. But I think that’s a swerve. There was a character at the end of season 1 or 2 named Ethan Zobelle.

https://i0.wp.com/upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/7/7f/EthanZobelle.jpg/250px-EthanZobelle.jpg
He was an enemy that they had cornered and had an opportunity to kill, however they let him live after rushing to Jax’s aid to find his son who was kidnapped. Now they had ample opportunity to kill him, and in fact, he is the only enemy that they had, that disappeared and didn’t die. They never mentioned him again. And that’s the “Surprise”. I’ve had this theory for about a season or two now, and have talked to several people about it. And they don’t agree with me, or didn’t think of it. (If this happens, I’m a genius. Just stating that, right now.) What I actually think happens is they are going to be taking the Mayhem vote, and he will show up and shoot the entire club. Anyways, on to prediction 2. (I Promise they won’t be as long).

2.) Nero Padilla dies.

https://i0.wp.com/img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20141001204426/sonsofanarchy/images/e/ed/Nero_704.png

Sad I know. Why should he die. He’s a lovable man with integrity that’s an O.G. He just wants to get to the farm with his son. And that’s the reason I think he’s going to die. His past will catch up to him. Plus it’ll make people really sad. (I’m all about good characters dying in movies.)

3.) The Grim Bastards become the first black members of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle gang.

https://i0.wp.com/www.imarider.com/file/attachment/2012/10/d09e0b10d14b3e23732cd0aee63bc24b.jpg

I know they’ve already hinted at it, and it’s not exactly a bold prediction, but not everything that is supposed to happen does.

4.) Alvarez stabs the SONS in the back.

https://i0.wp.com/ia.media-imdb.com/images/M/MV5BMTc0NTg1OTQ3MV5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwNjgyMDE0Ng@@._V1_SX214_CR0,0,214,317_AL_.jpgWhy? Because he was the first enemy we learned about in the show. He has a rival motorcycle gang. We’re supposed to believe there’s peace between the gangs? I don’t think so. I think they purposely kept the 2 gangs from beefing so that they could save it for one last episode.

5.) Over 40 People die in this last episode.

http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140304172912/sonsofanarchy/images/3/37/Randall_(1).jpgThat’s right. This will be the most gory episode in T.V history. I think the bodies are going to hit the Floor.
Cue the music….

Anyways those are my predictions for tonight. I’ll have updates tomorrow with how many predictions I actually got right.

If you agree or disagree with any of my predictions, or have some of your own, I want to here about. Hit my Twitter account up right here.

Jammin’ With Geoff: A New Bond To Share

Welcome to another addition of Jammin’ with Geoff! Big news happened out of Pinewood Studios this morning as you may have already heard. Sam Mendes, director of such incredible films as American Beauty, Road to Perdition and the most recent addition to the James Bond franchise, Skyfall was on the scene at 6am EST to unveil with great anticipation the title of the 24th feature and the follow up to the worldwide phenomenon that was Skyfall.

The whole video is below, but if you can’t wait like I did, just skip to 2:00. If you’re a huge Bond fan like I am, you’ll be glad you did.

Epic, right? Did you see that car? If I could sell my future romantic life for that car, I would! Because let’s face it, I ain’t getting lucky any time soon!

The first thing that caught my eye was the impeccable choice of name, also viewable below.
Spectre Poster

Fans of the franchise will know that SPECTRE – which stands for Special Executive for Counter-Intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion – was an old-school terrorist organization that Agent 007 frequently came into contact with in the earlier years. Sadly, the memorable organization or it’s head hasn’t been featured on screen in over 30 years. Well luckily, after settling a dispute over ownership of the famed group of foes, SPECTRE will be making a big return in terms of plot and is also getting the great honour of being the title of the freaking film!

Another thing that has me as excited as a kid at Christmas is the amazing cast. Returning of course are Mr. Daniel Craig as James Bond 007, Rory Kinnear as Tanner, Chief of Staff, Ben Wishaw as the youngest Q ever, Naomi Harris as the gorgeous Eve Moneypenny, and taking over after Judi Dench’s unfortunate departure, Ralph Fiennes as M. They added so much to Skyfall and can’t wait to see them again for Spectre. A new inclusion to the MI6 family is Sherlock’s Andrew Scott as a fellow named Denbigh (It’s pronounced “Den-bee”. I had issues too). Joining him as new inductees to the film are Dave Bautista playing a henchman known as Mr. Hinx, Monica Belluci as Lucia Sciarra, Lea Seydoux as Madeleine Swann, and two-time Oscar winner Christoph Waltz as the main villain Bond will go up against.

Now many people figured that given Mr. Waltz’s status in the film, and then the reveal of the title, he’d be playing old school Bond baddie Ernst Stavro Blofeld. But on the IMDb page, he’s listed as Oberhauser. So from appearances sake, Blofeld will be waiting to return to the Bond franchise.

HOWEVER!!! I am of the belief that Waltz could still be Blofeld and here’s why. Recently, a ton of movies have been doing the ol’ bait n’ switch with characters. Star Trek Into Darkness revealed Benedict Cumberbatch’s villain John Harrison to be a classic Star Trek villain by the name of Khan. Skyfall made a pair of big reveals when Naomi Harris’ Eve was unveiled to be the iconic Moneypenny. Even Ralph Fiennes went from being Gareth Mallory to the new M. So who knows how many people will be knocked unconscious by Christoph Waltz simply for teasing him about his “real identity”. Only time will tell.

I do know one thing, I’m gonna be counting the days until November 6, 2015 when Spectre makes its big unveiling. Wouldn’t blame you if you did too.

Box Office Blunders: BLOGcast

Podcast_Logo

This time YOU get to fill my shoes.

This week, I thought of tweeking my podcast just a bit. It could be because I’m feeling jolly thanks to christmas being less than a month away. I LOVE CHRISTMAS!

My podcast this week has turned into a BLOGcast, not because I’m lazy but because I want to let you feel what it is to have the POWER!…..but mostly it’s because I’m lazy….KIDDING!

What power am I talking about? the power for you to TRASH ME on MY all time favourite movies. I usually trash movies that don’t live up to their hype. This week, I thought it’d be nice for you to see what movies catch my interest so you can see what I love watching and for YOU to get to review my interests. Be RUTHLESS! DON’T hold back! if you hate my movies, let me know! if you love em, let me know! I don’t hold back at all! I don’t expect you to either!

Without further adew, Here are my top 5 favourite movies of ALL-TIME:

1. 40 Year Old Virgin

forty_year_old_virgin

The 40-year old virgin will always be my all-time favourite movie. The first time I watched it, when I was like 13 (hey, don’t judge!) I died of laughter. From chest waxing to a big o’l box of porn, every scene in that movie was hilarious. I loved it so much that I watched it probably over 20 times and by the end of it all, I knew all the words to the movie. Mooj was my favourite character

2. A Bronx Tale

bronx_tale_ver1

This is one of the two movies that I own on VHS. I am a big fan of Mafia/ Italian Mobster movies. A Bronx Tale ranks at number one for me. Ahead of Goodfellas and ahead of The Godfather. Fuhgetabout it! One of the reasons why I love this movie is because of the connection you make with each character. Each character represents a different dimension of me. You’ve got your funny Joe, Serious Joe, deep Joe, crazy Joe, etc. This movie also has tons of memorable and thought provoking quotes. Call me corny but there are a few of them that I even live by. One of those is the door test. Oh baby does this ever work!

3. Forrest Gump

forrest-gump-poster

Forrest Gump’s acting was phenomenal and the plot was great. It’s an entertaining movie, and just like A Bronx Tale, this movie had memorable quotes, scenes and characters! Bubba-Gump Shrimp, Lieutenant Dan, Run Forrest run!) Awesome.

4. Silver Linings Playbook

silver_linings_playbook

Okay, I’ll be honest here. I’m a sucker for romance movies. I’m not afraid to admit it! They’re actually really good, man! Once I seen it, I fell in love. The ending was spectacular. It brought the whole movie together and just made you say “AWWW!!” I MIGHT have shedded a tear….maybe….possibly…okay, did BUT how could you not cry after this?!

5. Borat

borat_ver2_xlg

VER NEZ! SEXY TIMEZ! need I say more?

There you go, your honour! My top 5 favourite movies of all time! I backed up my choices with good reasoning (I hope). Now it’s all left to you! rip me into shreds or applaud my interesting movie choices.

Send me your reviews @JoeyCast93

If you need help on how to rip me a new A**hole, listen to these! Here & Here

Just don’t let the power go to your head!

The Gunn Show: This blog is based on true events.

Hey there. Andrew Gunn Here. This week I’ll be talking about my beef with movies that are “based on true events”.

As most people know, I’m a huge sports fan. The majority of people who know me, know this. However what many people don’t know is I’m also a big movie fan. I love movies from all kinds of different genres. I especially take a liking to horror movies, mystery/suspense, and thrillers. Now when I say horror movies, I don’t mean those corny, teen slasher flicks like Scream or Friday the 13th. I’m talking real, spine-tingling horrors, paranormal or psychological. Ones that give you a mindf*** like no other. I’m also intrigued by movies that are “based on true events”. I like movies like these because after I finish watching them, I always feel the “Whoa, that really happened?”.

There’s only one problem. Many of these movies that claim to be based on true events or based on a true story, often exaggerate heavily and fabricate the movie so much that the whole plot is fictitious with the exception of the main character’s name or the location in which the movie took place.

A very good example is a movie I just watched recently called “Deliver Us From Evil” starring Eric Bana, Edgar Ramirez, Joel McHale and Olivia Munn. This movie, (without ruining it for you), centers around NYPD Sergeant Ralph Sarchie (played by Bana), who finds himself wrapped around a criminal investigation which takes a twisted, paranormal turn. He and his partner (played by McHale), encounter evil unimaginable, and look to the help of a young priest (played by Ramirez) to help them with the investigation. Many of the scenes and plot points were in fact chilling, and while I didn’t find the movie itself to be amazing, I was intrigued by the fact it was based on true events. After having finished the movie, I decided to look up the real story behind Deliver Us From Evil and the real Ralph Sarchie, as I often do after watching a movie of this particular subject. What I found out disappointed me greatly. What we know is, there really is an NYPD Sargeant Ralph Sarchie. He does in fact have a family like in the film, and he does encounter paranormal activity. However, almost every bit of information given in the movie did not really happen to the real Sarchie, and fabricated by the director to “make the movie work”. The only true things about this movie are the names of the characters, and the location of where it took place. This really disappointed me, as it immediately took alot of the intrigue away from this movie. And it’s not just this movie that has done such a thing. This happens frequently. A movie will come out with the tagline “based on actual events” or “inspired by a true story”, which really is just a marketing tactic to bring more people into the theatre to see it. Many of these movies are extremely exaggerated and it drives me crazy.

The most screwed up part about it is? I always fall for it, time after time. I will not deny, when I see a movie come out which claims to be based on a true story, especially if it’s a horror or thriller theme, I’ll be immediately intrigued to go see it. It never fails. I guess it’s a love-hate relationship with these movies. I fall in love with the potential, and have my heart broken by the outcome.

So the next time you’re watching tv, and you see a trailer for a new horror movie coming out that claims to be “based on true events”, you can count on me falling for it once again. I hope you don’t make the same mistake.

I’m Andrew Gunn, and that’s my beef with “based on true events” movies.10811445_10154899984955232_1118637016_n

In case you’re reading this, thank you for taking another interest in Gammin’ with Geoff. But if you’re new, welcome! Good to have you, and it’s Gammin’ pronounced ‘Jammin’ if you were confused. On this week’s addition, I’m going to be talking about the film Fury. First off, before I get too into it, wow, what a movie. It was compelling, dark, and incredibly realistic. It took the gloves off and pulled every punch it had and then some. Have a listen, check out the official movie site here.

Enjoy! Thanks for Gammin’ with Geoff!

Movie Talk with George Tsilfidis

GOODFELLAS-PESCI

Movie Talk with G-Stack George

Hey there and welcome to the weekly edition of Movie Talk… Now I know we usually critique movies, and discuss upcoming movies, but for today’s episode I decided to do something that’s near and dear to my heart… And that is showing love to the BAD GUY.

I have always loved the bad guy in all different facets of entertainment. I still remember one of my youngest memories of watching the Lion King with my dad and him getting mad that I was cheering for Scar.

I’m also a big time wrestling fan and my favourite group of all time was the NWO.

new_world_orderWith all that being said… My theme for this week’s edition of Movie Talk is my Top 5 Villains in a movie!

I want you to Tweet me @GstackGeorge and let me know who your favourite bad guys in movies are.

Next week we’re reviewing the movie The Judge.

We’re not too far gone.

“Is this what you want? What all of you want? I fought him before, and after, we took in his old friends, and they became leaders of what we have here. Put down your weapons, walk through those gates, and you’re one of us. We let go of all of it, and nobody dies. Everyone is alive right now. Everyone who made it this far, we’ve all done worse kinds of things just to stay alive – but we can still come back. We’re not too far gone.” – Rick Grimes

Above is a quote, from the most memorable episode of one the shows I binge’d and became emotionally attached to. The relevancy you ask? In 3 days… It comes back. What comes back? AMC’s The Walking Dead.

booyah-gif

I can safely say, I am excited as ALL hell! Partially because not only is one of my favourite shows returning to air (finally) but because the last season left so many unanswered questions that it will be amazing to catch up! It feels likes the characters and I have been separated for so long, aha. Seriously though, it will be great to get back into watching it – along with the all famous “The Talking Dead” afterwards. (obsessive, I know).

→ → → *DISCLAIMER: the next part of this post contains spoiler alerts!* ←←←

I have decided that in honour of this miraculous event happening this Sunday (I will provide you with…

The Top 5 Reasons You DON’T Want To Miss Season 5 (part one)

  1. BETH. Last time we saw her, she was abducted by god-knows-who at the house where she was with Daryl, well to be exact she was in the back of a car… either way the, the question stillBeth-Greenel persists and no one knows WHO or WHAT took her – which is eerie considering the rumours about Terminus… She does return however, well… You’ll at least get to see where she is / who she is with.
  2. TYREESE, CAROL AND JUDITH. The last time we saw them, it was after Carol shot Lizzie because she was going insane, and they fled the safety of their little cottage in what we hope was to try to reconnect with the others in Terminus.
Also, although this question WAS answered people still wonder, Is baby Judith alive and with them?! See, they are a mystery because after the whole episode they had, they sort of disappeared into the world of the insane and the world of missing characters. However, they must return, because the main cast is locked up in a truck.
  3. BOB AND SASHA. They were last seen when Maggie had left them to go find Glenn.  The worst part is, it was such an abrupt way to leave them off, no one knows if it was a way of killing them off or simply just AMC putting a hold on the characters like they did with Tyreese, Carol and Judith. All we know, is they ARE alive.
  4. THE HUNTERS? Most people who are caught up, have caught on that Terminus is NOT a0ee4fbaa3e4c4a06ca89ab07205bfcdb safe place and that they ARE cannibals, gross right?! HOWEVER, in accordance to the comics they bypassed an entire “species” of creature that could be found at a church.. So was that WHO took Beth?!  We don’t know, we just know that beside the walkers and the new-found cannibals, there is someone / something else taking and killing humans.
  5. IF NOT TERMINUS, WHERE? It is safe to say that Terminus is not safe and we know thanks to the trailer (darn spoilers, eh?) that they DO in fact get out of Terminus… but WHERE do they go?! Do they even know?! Will they meet up with Abe again? Will they go to Washington?! Are they just going to stick it out? No one knows, that that’s what drives me insane, WILL THEY EVER BE SAFE?!

The Flash, Arrow, Supernatural, The Walking Dead: That’s Right, IT’S TV SEASON!

IT’S TV SEASON

series-addict

Well, it’s October again which means just two things for me. 1. HALLOWEEN IS COMING and 2. IT’S TV SEASON! October is my favourite time of year when it comes to TV, all of the good shows come back to TV and of course my favourite SUPERNATURAL is back for another round. Rumour has it that the boys have signed on for another two seasons, which means this season just might not be the last for Supernatural lovers. Supernatural is NOT my only favourite, The Flash will be airing its pilot episode tonight too! Then there’s Arrow which is AMAZING and The Walking Dead which is a guilty pleasure of mine. Why you might ask? well I’ll get to that later, keep reading!

TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT – SUPERNATURAL IS BACK!

Screen Shot 2014-10-07 at 2.44.05 PM

I’m so excited for the roller coaster that will be Season 10 of Supernatural. My favourite actor (Jensen Ackles) who is also my favourite character in the show (Dean Winchester) is now ***SPOILER ALERT*** a full fledged demon. But he’s not just any kind of demon… Dean bares the mark of cain… so what’s that mean? Basically the mark of cain is a mark that was given to Cain, brother of abel, and it has super demon power to it. — that was a horrible explanation… you should probably just watch Supernatural and see for yourself why I am overly excited and pumped to sit at my TV and watch several hours of TV Gold for the next few months.

THE FASTEST MAN ALIVE? … THE FLASH

theflash

So.. I have a confession to make…. A friend of mine notified me that there might just be a copy of the pilot episode of The Flash online – available to download… so… yea… I downloaded it…. yepp.. instant regret. I watched it a few months ago and have had to wait until TODAY for The Flash to actually start.. and technically since I’ve already seen this episode.. I made the wait even LONGER!!!… although I do regret not waiting.. it was also really worth watching because it was AMAZING.. The Flash is on par with Arrow which is also an awesome show that comes back to TV tomorrow! But first.. If you don’t know who the Flash is.. Here’s a breakdown of Barry Allen, a.k.a. The Flash.

ARROW (THE COOLER BATMAN… HAHA. JUST KIDDING)

arrow

SOOOOOOOOOOO excited for this season of Arrow. I’ve been waiting since forever to see Felicity Smoak and Oliver Queen get together. THIS SEASON WILL BE EPIC. Yea… I said that.  What better way to prepare for the new season of Arrow than to watch Supernatural and The Flash the day before.

TV SEASON IS HERE – I keep saying it but hey.. I’m excited… don’t judge me.

THE WALKING DEAD

ALL YOU DEAD HEADS MUST BE STOKED FOR THIS NEW SEASON.

the-walking-dead-season-3-poster-full-570x844

I know I am.. Now.. I mentioned earlier that The Walking Dead is a guilty pleasure of mine.. “WHYYYYY???” Some of you are probably screaming. Believe me, it has nothing to do with being embarrassed to say I like the show because that is definitely not the case. The reason it is my guilty pleasure is because I hate, hate, hate zombies. It has to be the most ridiculous concept for me. How can someone believe that a virus like that can spread and no one would be able to stop it or deal with it or cure it. It just seems illogical to me, especially with all of the weapons and technology along with the advancements in science that we continue to make daily. Now.. that being said, The Walking Dead is different… It’s not so much about the story of the zombies as it is about the people and how they survive the trials and tribulations of living in a post-apocalyptic society. Which to me, is awesome.

WHAT ELSE IS THERE?

tv-addict

So, obviously I have a bunch of TV shows on my plate as is.. however, I’m always welcome to adding a few more to my favourites list. What TV shows are you looking forward to this TV season? or maybe to you TV season is in January. I wanna know what YOUR favourite shows are! Who knows, I might just like it too!

– Amanda

Now this is a story all about how the Fresh Prince twisted my life upside down

So I’d like to take a minute, just sit right there, and I’ll tell you everything I’ve learned from the prince of Bel Air.

1. ALWAYS dance like no one is watching.

Call me crazy, but this is honestly one of the mottos I live my life by, and Carlton is one of my inspirations for it. Mind you, I’m more likely to headbang to the Ramones instead of bust a groove to Tom Jones. However, when Carlton does the dance, he looks like an idiot, but he’s having too much fun to care! The point? Whether it’s dancing like a nutcase or something big like going for a certain career, do what makes you feel good and don’t let anybody else’s opinion stop you.

2. Always keep a sense of humor

How would you react to getting shot? You’d probably be traumatized. But when Will got shot, yes, he was shaken by the incident, but not even a bullet would stop him from telling jokes from his hospital bed or trying to score with his girlfriend in the hospital room. Enjoy your life the best you can, while you can.

3. Don’t easily give up

One of the most beloved gags of the show was Uncle Phil throwing Jazz out of the house all the time. Neither him nor Hilary appreciated Jazz’s attempts to get her to go out with him. Yet despite the numerous times he got thrown out, he didn’t let that stop him from trying again. Life is going to knock you to the ground some times, and you can either give up easily or get back up and try again.

4. Think outside the box.

My all time favourite episode is “Striptease for Two.” In that episode, Aunt Viv asks Will and Carlton to take her bracelet to the jeweler to get reset. Before they do that, Carlton gets an insider tip about a stock. The guys don’t have the money for it, so they decided to pawn the bracelet, then buy it back once they made money on the stock. And of course, their plan goes belly up. The company declares bankruptcy the day after they buy the stock, and they lost all their money. Most people would just confess and put aside money from the next few paychecks in such a situation. Will and Carlton instead get jobs as male strippers. Granted, this was not the best solution, but in life there are many times when creative thinking is necessary.

And now, for your listening entertainment, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme song as performed by (some of) the students of Radio Humber!
